1. Agreement
By using buildbycj.com or purchasing services from Build by CJ, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
Build by CJ provides freelance web design and related digital services. Specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing are defined in a project proposal or package description agreed before work begins.
3. Payments
Standard payment terms are one fixed project price when you book, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Monthly retainers start with the first month. Payments are processed through PayPal, Razorpay, or Dodo Payments. All fees are quoted in USD unless stated otherwise.
4. Client responsibilities
- Provide content, assets, and feedback within agreed timelines
- Ensure you have rights to any materials you supply
- Designate one decision maker for approvals
- Pay invoices according to agreed terms
5. Intellectual property
Once your project is fully paid, you receive ownership of the final website design and content created specifically for your project. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless a confidentiality agreement states otherwise. Third-party themes, plugins, fonts, and stock assets remain subject to their own licenses.
6. Revisions and scope
Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds. Additional revisions or scope changes require a written change order and may incur extra fees.
7. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost revenue or data loss beyond reasonable backup obligations stated in your agreement.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate a project with written notice. Work completed up to the termination date is billable. Deposits are non-refundable once work has started, as outlined in our Refund Policy.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before formal proceedings.
